Everton have one of the best home records this season. The Toffees have only lost once this season at home in the Premier League – a 1-0 defeat to archrivals Liverpool back in December last year.

More recently, Ronald Koeman’s men have won their last eight league games and have beaten Manchester City 4-0 and Southampton 3-0 in that period.

Antonio Conte spoke about their home record in his pre-match press conference ahead of the visit to the Goodison Park.

“Everton are a really good strong team with great players in their squad,” he said. “They have good quality, they are a physical team also, they have a good manager.

“They play well-organised football, and for sure it will be a really tough game for us, but at the end of the season every game becomes tough for different reasons.

“When they play at home they are stronger,” Conte added when asked about Everton’s eight-game winning streak.

“We know this but for us it’s very important to look at ourselves, to prepare very well and play this game in great physical condition and with good organisation, and to know very well what our tasks are defensively and offensively.”
