Tottenham beat Watford earlier today to put Chelsea under pressure. The Blues who were playing much later in the day had to win Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium or risk cutting the point gap to four or five points.

Chelsea responded with a 3-1 win away from home, and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte spoke about the pressure after the game.

“When you play after your opponent and you see them very close it’s normal that it can bring a bit of pressure. I’m very happy to face this type of situation, to play with only four points above our opponent,” Conte said.

“I like the pressure, I live with pressure. If I don’t see pressure, I put pressure on. Pressure brings the best out of you.”
