Chelsea will play Everton at Goodison Park before Tottenham takes on Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham have played before Chelsea for some weeks now and Chelsea have a chance to play before Tottenham for the second consecutive game.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois doesn’t expect our result against Everton to have an impact on Tottenham’s game against Arsenal because the game comes up immediately after Chelsea’s game against Everton.

“If you win it’s always better to play first as it puts more pressure on the other team,” Courtois told Chelsea’s official website.

“They did it with us a few weeks ago and we did it to them in midweek, so it makes it harder.

“They kick off straight after our final whistle so they will be busy with their own game and I don’t think it will have an impact.

“If there are one or two days in between it can make a difference because if we win they will be under pressure, and if we lose they know they can make up ground.

“Maybe during their game the manager will adapt to what has happened in our game, but I don’t think it will affect them too much.”
