Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly keeping tabs on 23-year-old Torino striker Andrea Belotti as Conte seeks to reinforce Chelsea in the summer after a stunning debut season in England.
Belotti reportedly has a release clause of about €100 million and Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic claims the striker would be happy to stay in Italy this summer despite interest from Premier League leaders Chelsea.
When asked about Belotti’s future, Mihajlovic said as quoted on Metro UK: “Everyone likes him, me, the fans, everyone.
“Belotti is not a player of this era but if he remains or not depends on many things.
“He’s happy here – I know that – and would be willing to stay.
“I hope he remains as long as I do but I do not know.
“The President has already stated that if the €100 million release clause is met then it will be up to the player himself.”
Belotti is having an impressive season in the Serie A after scoring 28 goals in 34 games. He is also reportedly wanted by London rivals Arsenal.
