John Terry has confirmed that his time at Chelsea will be up at the end of the season, and the Chelsea skipper has admitted that he will continue his playing career at another club.
Former England international Danny Mills and Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam think Manchester United should join those teams in the battle for the 36-year-old’s signature.
“I couldn’t [see Terry in a Manchester United shirt], but if I was Mourinho I would go and take him,” Adam said on BBC Radio 5 Live. “I’d say to him ‘listen, come and play for a year’. And why not, [he’s] a leader, a winner.”
Mills added that Terry would be a huge influence in the Manchester United training ground.
He said: “Even to have him on the training pitch, around the place, that experience [would be good for United].
“I think JT’s doing his coaching badges as well at the moment. I’m sure he’d want to learn again from that side of it.”
I’m not sure any Chelsea fan will love to see Terry at United, not for any reason.
