Tottenham’s winning run seems to have gotten to many football fans, who have forgotten that Chelsea have been the league’s most dominant side since November.
Former Tottenham and Chelsea midfielder Glenn Hoddle might attract the wrath of the Chelsea faithful, as he claims that Spurs have the better side on a man-to-man basis.
“The key for me was then Tottenham took Chelsea on,” Hoddle told BT Sport.
“They matched them up with wing-backs and they were better than them.
“And although Chelsea have been so successful with that shape, Spurs are man-for-man stronger than them.”
Well, Hoddle was a Tottenham legend and didn’t play up to 40 games for Chelsea during his player-manager role, so we can understand his bias.
