Chelsea magician Eden Hazard has earned a PFA Player of the Year nomination after returning to his best form this season.
Hazard has praised Chelsea boss Antonio Conte for his success this season after revealing Conte helped him a lot with his positioning this season.
“I see a lot of similarities now with my best-ever season in 2014-15,” Hazard said as quoted on The Sun.
“I have equalled my goalscoring record, with 14 and have seven games left to break it.
“It’s impossible to say if I am better now. But I am enjoying myself on the pitch, we are winning and top of the league – what more could I ask for?
“I have a free role on the pitch. Antonio Conte has helped me a lot with my positioning, as I play more of a central role this season.
“When I attack, I am in front of goal more quickly. In the past, I was more often in the wing, other teams knew what I would do and I would be faced by two or three opponents.
“I also profit from the fact opposing defenders have to watch out for Diego and our other strikers.
“The team is playing well and that is not down to chance. We work very hard under Conte and we are reaping the rewards.”
