Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi are currently the best two players in the world but Chelsea star Eden Hazard isn’t far off from the pair.
After the match against Tottenham on Saturday, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas advised Hazard to be more selfish and score more goals if he wants to be the best in the world.
Hazard has now revealed he is working on becoming the best player in the world.
“Fabregas is not the only one to say that to me,” Hazard told Sky Sports.
“A lot of people say to me you need to be more selfish but when I am on the pitch sometimes I prefer to pass.
“I try game after game to be more selfish.
“I know it’s good for me to score more goals if I want to reach the level of Messi and (Cristiano) Ronaldo.
“I am working on it.”
