Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window, with Italian outfit AC Milan said to be highly interested in signing the Spaniard.

He strongly insisted that he wasn’t interested in a move away from the club and has found game time more than when the season started.

And Gazzetta dello Sport say the club have revived their interest in Fabregas, making contact with the 29-year-old over a summer switch.

The report claims that the Serie A giants who are currently 6th on the table have reached an agreement with Fabregas and will secure a deal for the player in the coming months.
