Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport listed 10 managers and asked experts from around the world to rank them in order with the combined votes leading to the final list.
A manager was awarded 10 points each time a journalist named them in first place, nine points for second place, eight points for third place and so on.
Journalists from newspapers L’Equipe in France, Germany’s Bild and the Times from the UK were included in the poll.
Aside Antonio Conte, the only other Premier League managers to make the top ten list were Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. While Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger didn’t even make the shortlist.
