Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany played his first 90 minutes game of the season, and the City captain ended up on the losing side.
Chelsea beat Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, and Kompany revealed he was disappointed with the result but gave Chelsea the credit for being so ruthless in front of goal.
“I can’t say I’m disappointed with performance but I’m disappointed we didn’t win,” Kompany said.
“Physically we stood up to the challenge.
“You’ve got to give it to Chelsea, they don’t need a lot of chances.”
