Romelu Lukaku has been on fire this season. He currently tops the league’s scoring chart with 24 goals so far.

There have been many reports linking him with Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as reports of Everton wanting £100 million for the 23-year-old.

He took to twitter to send the media into a state of guesswork with this cryptic post below:

The post reads: “When the hate don’t work, they start telling lies.”

Lukaku fueled speculation by posing with Paul Pogba on Instagram following Manchester United’s recent win over Sunderland, while he has confirmed his intention to play for a Champions League club and is currently refusing to sign a new contract.

So, no one has a clue what/who his post was targeted at.
