Chelsea travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to play Manchester United as we continue our march towards being crowned champions of England.
Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is a doubt for Sunday’s visit of Chelsea after being ruled out of United’s Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht.
Rooney is reportedly nursing an ankle injury.
“He’s not happy with his condition,” Mourinho said of Rooney, according to United’s official website.
“He’s trying to work, which he does, but he’s not confident, he’s not happy.
“He has bad feelings with his ankle and he’s not ready to play.
“Let’s see for the weekend, let’s see for next week. We don’t have many players and need everyone to try to be available. For tomorrow (Thursday), no.”
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, who missed United’s 3-0 win over Sunderland last weekend will be available for Chelsea’s visit after training with his teammates this week.
