Besides John Terry, David Luiz and Gary Cahill, the rest of the team weren’t part of Roberto Di Matteo’s FA Cup winning team in 2012 that won the FA Cup alongside the Champions League.

Nemanja Matic has revealed that the team will do everything possible to be FA Cup champions.

When the official Chelsea website asked him if the FA Cup clash could have a say in the title race, his response was “Maybe,” with his eyebrows raised. “We will see about that.

“But really we want to be in the final and we will try to do everything to be there. After the semi-final we have to focus on the Premier League. We have six games left and five we have to win if we want to be champions. That’s all we players will think about, whatever happens at Wembley.

“Most of this team have not won the FA Cup and we would like to win it,” added the Serbian. “We also know it is something special for the people. We are confident we can do it.”
