Victor Moses spent the last three seasons of his Chelsea career on loan at three different clubs and his career at Chelsea was looking all but over when Antonio Conte came and gave him a lifeline.
The same could also be said about Marcos Alonso who got so many criticisms from pundits when he came to the club newly, and he was also called the weak link in Chelsea’s team. The Spaniard has improved drastically and after today’s win against Bournemouth, former Chelsea boss Glenn Hoddle hailed the Spaniard and Victor Moses. He said: “Him and Moses, at the beginning of the season people weren’t too sure about the wing-backs, but they have proved themselves.
“Alonso has that lovely left foot balance. The number of times they change the play, he is out there all the time. The diagonal pass is always in play.”
