Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City squad will come visiting Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, and the former Barcelona coach expects a tough game against Chelsea.
While addressing the media ahead of the game against Chelsea, he said: “Chelsea will be a big game and especially a big game away, it is important to learn from these kinds of games for the future.
Guardiola then conceded that Chelsea have the quality to compete in Europe next season and deserve to be top of the table.
“They play less games, they have more time to prepare. But Chelsea will be in Europe next year and they have the quality to compete. Chelsea deserve to be where they are, they have won a lot of games and deserve their position,” said Manchester City manager.
