Thibaut Courtois missed the last game against Manchester United in the Premier League due to an ankle injury he sustained from a non-football event.
The Belgian will be back for today’s game against Tottenham, and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wasn’t angered with his injury, while admitting that commercials are important to the club.
He said in his pre-match press conference: “The most important thing is that Thibaut recovered from his injury and he trained with us this week. This is the most important thing, then I speak with my club but when I do I think it is best to keep the conversation private.
“Commercial work is important to a club, it is very important. It is important always to have a good link with all and then have the best decision to improve.”
