Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye man-marked Eden Hazard during Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park earlier today.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman revealed after the game that asking Gueye to man-mark Hazard limited Hazard’s ability against Everton.

“Idrissa Gueye played a fantastic game,” said Koeman.

“Eden Hazard was not the player he can be because of the man-marking.”

I think Hazard performed better today being man-marked than the game against Manchester United.
