Chelsea inflicted a serious psychological blow on Tottenham players ahead of the title run-in with a 4-2 victory over Tottenham in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino revealed his team will move on quickly from the defeat and he also insisted Tottenham will keep fighting for the title until the end.

When asked if the defeat will affect Tottenham’s confidence, Pochettino said: “It is not important, we will move on.

“It is true the players are disappointed but tomorrow we will work again on the training ground to focus on the next game.

“If we play like we played today, we cannot be worried.

“We gave our best and it was impossible because football today did not pay what we deserved.

“But I understand football totally and sometimes you play well and don’t win.

“We are disappointed a little bit but tomorrow is to prepare for the next game and we focus for another game and we try to catch up with them.”
