Chelsea had been linked with the services of Real Madrid midfielder Isco in recent months with his current Real Madrid contract set to expire in 2018.
In February, Isco revealed he could consider a move away from Real Madrid in the summer after admitting his frustration over his lack of appearances at Real Madrid.
According to a report in IB Times, 24-year-old Isco is set to stay at Real Madrid beyond the summer with the midfielder close to agreeing a new Real Madrid contract.
Isco confirmed this after Real Madrid’s 4-2 Champions League win over Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
“We are close. I’ve always said I want to continue being here for many years to come,” Isco said as quoted on IB Times.
