Chelsea’s main and only threat in the title race is Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have been in superb form this year, and have won their last 7 league games.
With seven points separating Chelsea and Spurs before this weekend’s round of games, former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp claimed that there was still hope for Tottenham in the title race.
When asked if the title race can open up this weekend, Redknapp said on Sky Sports ahead of Spurs 4-0 win against Bournemouth: “There’s a chance of it, obviously.
“This Tottenham side are playing great football. Dele Alli’s in wonderful form, Harry Kane I expect will start today.
“I think if you were to ask Antonio Conte who he is most scared of, he’d say Tottenham. They’re in great form at home.”
Spurs win against Bournemouth has reduced the gap to 4 points, meaning Chelsea just have to beat United again.
