Diego Costa’s future has been in doubts since January, and ever since, Chelsea have been linked with potential deals for a new striker, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata topping the rumour mill.
The club’s top goalscorer was strongly linked with a move to China in January with a record pay cheque in view, after an alleged row with boss Antonio Conte in training.
Reports had it that he then vowed to stay at the club till the end of the season and would discuss his future when the season reaches its end.
A report carried by Daily Mail claims the 28-year-old will sit down with club chiefs next month, after the Blues hope to wrap up the Premier League title, to discuss his future, while suggesting that there might be a summer exit for the Spain international.
Costa has played a huge role for Chelsea in the title race this season despite his drop in form since January. His 17 Premier League goals are a major reason Chelsea are top of the table.
