Tiemoue Bakayako has been a revelation for Monaco this season, and the 22-year-old who signed for Monaco from Rennes in 2014 isn’t keen on extending his contract with the French club after a stellar season.
According to Le10sport, Monaco are determined to tie Bakayako down to a new deal, but the midfielder has told them that he will not sign a new contract, amidst interest from the Premier League.
Monaco will not allow the Frenchman to run down his contract so as not to devalue his worth and have decided to let him go this summer with two years left on his deal.
The combative midfielder has been a target for Chelsea, and reports have it that Chelsea and Manchester United will go head to head in a battle to sign the 22-year-old who has impressed in both the French League and Champions League this season.
