Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been one of Manchester United’s best players this season, if not the best and the Swedish forward’s Old Trafford career looks to be over amid reports that he has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury that could keep him out till the end of the year.
Ibrahimovic fell awkwardly at the end of normal time in their Europa League game against Anderlecht on Thursday night, and may have played his last game for the club.
Reports now claim former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is eager to land Romelu Lukaku as a replacement for the Swede.

Antoine Griezmann is a key target for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho, and Daily Star report that the Portuguese has told the club to intensify efforts to sign Lukaku as well.
Lukaku is the league’s best striker this season with 24 goals to his name, and while Chelsea looked to be the major club interested in him, Antonio Conte and co will now be wary of the red half of Manchester.
