A host of Chelsea players have impressed this season as Chelsea have stormed to the top of the Premier League and Spanish club Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing four Chelsea players.
According to a report by Spanish media outlet Don Balon via Daily Express, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has a transfer shortlist with four Chelsea players in it.
The report claims Zidane wants Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, N’Golo Kante and Marcos Alonso (who came through the Real Madrid youth system).
Chelsea magician Eden Hazard and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois have both been linked with Real Madrid all season but both players have publicly spoken of their desire to remain in London.
Zidane reportedly wanted Kante last season but Real Madrid did not deem buying the France international Kante a priority with Brazilian midfielder Casemiro in the Real Madrid team, according to Don Balon.
Despite losing out on Kante last summer, the report claims Zidane wants Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez to sign Kante as he seeks to play Kante and Casemiro in his midfield next season.
Alonso, who arrived from Serie A side Fiorentina last summer, has shone for Chelsea this season in the left wing-back position and Zidane reportedly wants the Real Madrid academy product to return to the capital.
It’s definitely going to be mission impossible for Real Madrid as Chelsea won’t listen to offers for any key player in the Chelsea squad.
