Following the 2-0 loss to Manchester United last Sunday, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly changed his approach with the players as he prepares the team for the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham on Saturday.
Conte has reportedly taken a firmer stance in training this week to get the players refocused according to The Sun.
A report in The Sun claims that Conte has turned training into a “boot camp” style this week. The Italian has intensified the work rate in training.
Conte is making the players train longer and harder as he prepares the team for the match against Tottenham on Saturday.
Conte has also restricted the number of visitors at Cobham to minimise distractions.
A source told The Sun: “Antonio realised some things needed to be changed to refocus the whole group on what is at stake.
“It’s only for the run up to the Spurs match. After that, it’s back to normal.
“But basically, you can say the players are getting a kick up the backside.”
