It’s no longer a secret that Spanish club Real Madrid want Chelsea magician Eden Hazard in the summer and the Spanish side have been trying to unsettle our star player through the media.
A report in the Daily Mirror claims Real Madrid are getting increasingly confident they will be able to sign Hazard in the summer (another ploy to get Hazard unsettled and Chelsea fans worried).
The report claims Real Madrid believe Hazard will be ready to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season if, as expected, Chelsea clinch a second Premier League title in three years.
Manchester United broke the world-record to sign Paul Pogba last summer and Real Madrid are reportedly willing to break the world record and go over the £100million barrier to tempt Chelsea into selling Hazard.
The report claims Real Madrid are also willing to sweeten the deal by putting their Spain international striker Alvaro Morata into any deal, with the total package likely to be worth in excess of £120m.
However, Hazard is expected to stay in Chelsea next season as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has insisted Chelsea won’t be selling our star man.
Conte sees Hazard as key to his plans to build a Chelsea side that will be able to challenge in the Champions League next season.
Chelsea are also reportedly ready to offer the 26-year-old midfielder a new deal worth £300,000-a-week to ensure he stays at Stamford Bridge.
