Chelsea and Arsenal will meet for the third time this season in the FA Cup finals on May 27 at the Wembley Stadium.

38-year-old Anthony Taylor will be the man with the whistle come that day.

Taylor who was the fourth official for the 2013 final but will be the main man at Wembley next month.

He has already taken charge of the Community Shield and League Cup final and will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Marc Perry with Bobby Madley confirmed as fourth official.

“The first feeling when I got was the call…I was delighted, excited and very, very honoured and humbled to be appointed to the game,” Taylor said about his appointment for the game.

“It’s been a long-standing dream of mine in the 20-odd years that I’ve been a referee to one day officiate The FA Cup Final, it’s the pinnacle of your domestic career.”
