Chelsea captain John Terry will leave Chelsea at the end of the season and three Chelsea players are preparing to lead the club.
According to Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and himself are ready to lead Chelsea when Terry leaves.
“Obviously, JT is a big loss,” Azpilicueta said.
“We will miss him but the players who are coming from behind have to take more responsibilities and to lead the team.
“I am one of the players who started maybe five years ago, with Eden, we came at the same time.
“We have Gary and JT until now and we are all part of helping the new players who come to this club to understand the standards of Chelsea and show them what it is to be in this club and to fight for trophies. This is what we want.
“Now JT is leaving, they will make a decision. I am ready for whatever the club decides.
“Gary is the second captain now. I wore the armband at Wembley. It was a special moment for me and I are proud of it.
“The most important thing was to win and be in the final. We did it well. We played as a big team.”
