Chelsea vs Tottenham is the game of the weekend, and the football world is looking forward to a great game between two bitter rivals.

Former Premier League star Alan Shearer has revealed his pre-match analysis of the game, and while he expects a tough battle, the former Newcastle striker said he believed Spurs could beat Chelsea without resorting to defensive and nullifying tactics such as those used by Mourinho.

“I thought Manchester United did an excellent job of marking Chelsea’s big hitters out of the game last weekend,” Shearer wrote in his column for Coral.

“Tottenham beat them earlier in the season at White Hart Lane by out-playing them, United, on the other hand, did it by nullifying their best opponents. Tottenham will feel they have individuals who can out-perform Chelsea at Wembley.

“It is such a tight game to call because there are a number of match winners in both teams. When you look at the amount of goals in that Tottenham side, you have (Harr) Kane, Son (Heung-min), (Dele) Alli and (Christian) Eriksen.

“Chelsea also have (Diego) Costa, (Eden) Hazard, Pedro, William and (Cesc) Fabregas so it sets us up for what should be an absolutely cracking game and one that I am really looking forward to.”
