Nathan Ake caught the eyes of many with his performance against Tottenham in the FA Cup semifinal clash on Saturday.

Ake played the entire game on the left side of the defence in the 3-4-3 formation. He was as solid as a rock and was very comfortable against a rampaging match in a match that looked like a finals.

Ake has earned the praises of his captain, as John Terry took to social media to praise the 22-year-old who just returned from loan in January.

“Big shoutout to @nathanake who I thought was brilliant yesterday,” Terry posted on his instagram page.

Ake thanked his captain in return.
