To say that Chelsea have had a decent season is an understatement. Our season has been more than decent; it has been a phenomenal success. Coming back from the disappointment of 2015/16 to be on top in 2016/17, and do it in great fashion is no easy feat. Our coach, Antonio Conte has been wonderful, as well as the team; and they all deserve to be appreciated.

The season is edging to an end, and we’re still competing on two fronts, and we have the potential of getting the ultimate prizes in those competitions, but we have to continue to go at them full throttle In order to get the rewards we deserve.

This weekend, we face Tottenham in one of the 2 competitions, the FA cup, and while it’s not an easily winnable tie, it’s important that we try to get the win. And the reason I say this isn’t just because of bragging rights, it’s beyond that for me, it’s about keeping our spirits high until the end of the season. We lost to United last Sunday, even though there were a couple of factors working against us. But that’s by the way, and it’s important that we win the game so we keep the momentum going especially after the loss from the other day. If we lose the tie, it might affect the confidence of the players as they pursue the Premier League.

Like I mentioned before, it won’t be an easy fixture for us, but we can do it. We have done it before, and I know we will repeat the feat this weekend.

What makes him perfect for this blog? He lives for Chelsea FC, in fact, I heard he sat in the middle of a road, and refused to go home after that bitter loss to Barcelona in 2009. Haha.
