Diego Costa is in his worst goal drought of his Chelsea career. The 28-year-old striker has failed to score in five league games.
According to a Daily Mirror report, Costa is aware of a new deal on the table from the Chinese Super League worth £34 million a year after tax and it is claimed his head might have been turned.
The new offer from China would make Costa the highest paid player in the world.
The report claims Chelsea fear the offer is proving to be a huge distraction for the striker in a crucial stage of the season.
Daily Mirror claim the offer “has coincided with Costa not scoring in his last five league games – a drought that has lasted 490 minutes”.
If a new offer from China is the reason for Costa’s poor form, what do you think Antonio Conte should do?
