Manchester United player Ashley Young insists Manchester United beating Chelsea didn’t come as a shock to the players because they felt it coming.

It’s so easy for Young to say that after the victory over Chelsea but I can’t remember him saying that when Chelsea thrashed Manchester United 4-0 in November. Maybe he felt the loss coming back then.

“We have felt that kind of performance coming,” Young said as quoted on Standard Sport.

“There have been a lot of draws at home.

“I don’t think a lot of people saw that scoreline coming or the type of game to be honest. We did.

“We have belief in ourselves. I have confidence in every single player in the squad.

“There is great competition in the squad. We have a busy month and everyone has to be ready and on their toes. I don’t think a lot of people expected it but we did.”
