Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic moved to Milan on a temporary deal last summer to gain more first-team experience, and the youngster has gone on to great heights in the Serie A after breaking into the AC Milan first team.
Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claim the Serie A giants are keen to retain the playmaker’s services.
The 22-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea having been snapped up from Croatian side Hajduk Split. His loan spell didn’t start out well with the Italian giants and at a time Chelsea were considering cancelling his loan deal with Milan.
However, he eventually clawed his way into the first team and has racked up 20 league appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist. AC Milan now want to sign the Chelsea youngster on a permanent deal.
