Chelsea and Arsenal have an FA Cup showdown to play on Saturday evening at the Wembley Stadium, and Willian has revealed that Chelsea striker Diego Costa is geared up to play the game and wants to score against the Gunners.
Chelsea are already league champions and want to make it a double on Saturday, and Willian believes Costa could be decisive in this match due to his huge desire to influence the big games and to hurt Arsenal once again.
“Everyone likes to play in games like Saturday, but Diego really enjoys the big games, the big stage at Wembley where the atmosphere will be amazing,” Willian told the London Evening Standard.
“He loves the big occasion, he likes playing against Arsenal. He is a striker, he wants to score, he wants to make the difference. I hope he scores again on Saturday.
Arsenal are having defence crisis at the moment, and there are talks that Per Mertersacker could start his first game in a year for the North London club. Costa has a very good record against Arsenal and Mertersacker, and Willian has revealed that Costa has been talking about this game.
“He has been talking about this game, but all of us have. Everyone wants to play this match. We know what we have to do. We have to enjoy and play with responsibility,” he said.
