Chelsea will be looking to complete the double in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge of the Blues.
However, former Arsenal player Martin Keown believes Chelsea won’t be looking forward to playing Arsene Wenger’s side.
“Chelsea won’t be happy coming into this playing against us,” Keown told Arsenal Fan TV.
“They dipped a little bit since they became champions and we’re going to have to see what’s going to turn up.
“The semi-final between them and Tottenham was magnificent, they had (Diego) Costa and (Eden) Hazard on the bench, they’ve got a powerful squad Chelsea.
“It may come down to someone coming off the bench, maybe a (Olivier) Giroud, maybe Danny Welbeck who missed the last cup final, maybe he’s going to be the winner.
“Lots of fingers crossed and it’s going to be a tense affair and the crowd will play their part.”
Since becoming Champions, Chelsea won Watford 4-3 (with key players rested) and Sunderland (5-1) so I really don’t understand Keown when he says Chelsea’s form have dipped a little since we became champions.
