Tiemoue Bakayako has been one of Monaco’s shining light in their stellar season this campaign. The French club are on its way to becoming French champions and are also in the semifinals of the Champions League, and Bakayako has been a key element in their success.
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with Chelsea and there were rumours that PSG have held talks with the Monaco star.
His brother Abdoulaye Bakayoko, who also acts as his agent, has categorically denied that any meeting took place.
“The story that we have met with PSG to discuss a move for Tiemoue is completely false,” he told RMC.
“Tiemoue is having an unbelievable season with Monaco and I don’t understand these false rumours.”
Reports claim Chelsea are leading the race for the 22-year-old, with Manchester United, PSG and Bayern Munich strongly interested in the player.
Bakayako is seen as an ideal partner with summer signing N’Golo Kante, and one can only dream of how solid the midfield could be with the duo.
