Chelsea have accepted a bid of £10 million from Bournemouth for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The 29-year-old is Chelsea’s second-choice goalkeeper and has been at the club for two seasons. He made known his intention to leave Chelsea during the January transfer window, but Antonio Conte hung on to him as Chelsea couldn’t secure a new goalkeeper signing before the end of the January transfer window.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international is yet to agree personal terms and complete a medical for the deal to be completed.

Bournemouth has long shown their interest in Begovic since January and have been the most consistent club on his trail.

Begovic joined Chelsea in the summer of 2015 from Stoke on a four-year deal for a fee of £8m, but has only made 33 appearances for the club over the last two seasons.

Begovic only played twice in the league for Chelsea this season, as the Blues went on to win the Premier League.
