Chelsea’s win against West Brom on Friday sealed the Premier League title for the Blues, and Chelsea have little to fight for with two games left for the Blues in the current campaign.
Chelsea will host Watford on Monday night, and reports making the rounds suggest that Antonio Conte will give some youngsters the chance to start.
The likes of Nathan Ake, Michy Batshuayi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Nathaniel Chalobah, Charly Musonda and Ola Aina haven’t started a league game this season and the Chelsea boss might hand out starts to some of them, with some entering in the second-half.
Chelsea have already won the league, but there’s still a record to fight for. Wins in our remaining two fixtures will give us a Premier League record of 30 wins in a single season.
So will Conte fight for the record wins or give youngsters a chance? I believe he’d go for the latter and still hope to get the former.
