Chelsea defeated Middlesbrough 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to move close to being Premier League champions this season.

All Chelsea need to do now is beat West Brom on Friday, and the league will be Chelsea’s, irrespective of what happens in Tottenham’s game.

Tottenham put pressure on Chelsea after Spurs reduced the gap from ten points to four, and with this win, Antonio Conte has for the first time admitted that he’s relaxed.

Conte said after the game: “For sure now I’m a bit relaxed. This step was a big step for us, a big win at this stage of the season to win is great. Now we need to do another step, with the possibility to do this on Friday against West Brom. It won’t be easy, they are a good team, physical and must pay great attention. It was a big step. I must be pleased with the performance, the commitment and will and desire on the pitch. To score three goals and keep a clean sheet. Very very good.”
