When Chelsea boss Antonio Conte arrived Chelsea last summer, he revealed that he hoped to turn a small flickering flame into a blazing inferno.

Conte has led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in charge and the Blues can also secure the double by defeating Arsenal in the FA Cup final.

Conte has urged the players to keep the fire burning as he sets his sights on more success with Chelsea.

“I think we have just started to light the fire and you must always have this fire in your soul, in your heart and in your head,” said Conte.

“We must have a winning mentality, because if you have that you want to continue to win every season. It is not easy because in English football there are many, many teams that want to do the same things. We have to continue to work very hard and be stronger to try to repeat a good season.

“When you have the winning mentality, you want to win every game. Someone that is happy to see his past is not a winner, he is a loser. The past is good; the past is beautiful. You can see your past, but the present and the future is important if you are a winner. If you are a loser you always stay looking behind you and you won’t win.

“For me, I hate the word relax. I prefer to use the word enjoy and we should enjoy our achievement. To win the league we had a very difficult path this season.

“Now it’s important to enjoy the win with the players, the club and the fans because we worked very hard, but relax, no, because I don’t like this. I want people who stay concentrated every day and prepare for a new win.”
