Chelsea lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium, no thanks to a handball by Alexis Sanchez in the build-up to the goal.

Chelsea were down to a goal as early as the 4th minute of the game, and Antonio Conte has admitted that the team didn’t start well, but insists that Sanchez’s handball that led to the goal shouldn’t have stood.

The Chelsea boss said after the game: “Our start wasn’t good enough. They started the game better than us.

“Honestly the goal after three minutes in this way, I think this goal was disallowed because there was a clear handball. Our start wasn’t good, then we started to play in the second half, we created chances to equalise.

“The second yellow card for Moses was one of the two key moments, but despite this we were able to equalise. Then we let in after one moment and it was the key moment for our loss. We created another chance with Diego, but Ospina made a good save.”
