Antonio Conte’s men only need three more points to become Premier League champions this season, and a win against West Brom tonight will seal the deal for Chelsea.

The Premier League is a tough competition and the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp who came to the league with so much hype and expectations have experienced how difficult it is, firsthand.

Antonio Conte would be the fourth manager to lift the Premier League trophy in his first season in England, emulating Jose Mourinho in 2004-05, Carlo Ancelotti in 2009-10 and Manuel Pellegrini in 2013-14.

Only one manager outside of Chelsea have achieved this feat.

Not many expected Conte to guide Chelsea to a title win this season, judging from the team’s woes last season and the manner in which we started the season as we suffered a 3-0 loss to Arsenal which took the Blues outside the top six.

From being outside the top six, Conte’s tactical switch ensured the Blues became the league’s most dominant team, and a consecutive win of 13 matches took Chelsea to the top, and there was no going back from there.

Big ups to Antonio Conte the Godfather, for the good job he has done.
