Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas insists he would turn down the chance to receive bigger wages in China because he wants to continue playing at the top.
When asked if he would move to China if a big-money offer came in, Fabregas told Cadena Ser: “No.
“I just turned 30 but I feel so good physically and mentally that I think I have many years ahead.
“I just think about playing at the top.
“I had a very bad start to the season. I did not play, then I got an injury and I was left out of the national team. It was a big blow.
“But I said that I was not going to give up and that I had to fight.
“The game against Manchester City [in December] was key to changing the situation.
“I have started to play a lot more since then. I earned the confidence of the manager and I am finishing the season very well.
“I am very proud of how I have turned around the situation.”
