Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas will face his former club Arsenal in the FA Cup final later this month.
The midfielder who spent eight years with Arsenal revealed he would put feelings aside when he plays against Arsenal in the FA Cup final. He hopes to hurt Arsenal by helping Chelsea win the FA Cup.
“It will be emotional,” said Fabregas.
“It is not an ordinary game for me. It’s not as if I like playing against Arsenal. They are a club in my heart and always will be. I have to put those feelings aside. You have to be professional.
“Arsenal are playing well and playing a different system. Maybe they are not performing fantastic in this system but they are defensively better. They are winning and that’s important for them. Their belief is higher.
“But our belief is high. Hopefully we can hurt them in the way we want. Imagine winning the Double. It would be fantastic.”
