Cesc Fabregas turned 30 on Thursday, but the Spaniard isn’t in any way slowing down, as he produced a man-of-the-match performance against Middlesbrough as Chelsea defeated Boro 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

The Chelsea playmaker who started in the absence of the injured N’Golo Kante, teed up Diego Costa for the opener in the Blues’ Premier League clash with Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge for his 10th assist of the season. His assist for Alonso is his 11th of the season.

It’s the sixth time that Fabregas has reached that landmark and he is the first to do it for that many seasons in the Premier League. Four of them came during his time with Arsenal, however the most assists that Fabregas has ever reached was the 2014/15 season in which he assisted 18 goals on the Blues’ way to the title.

What makes Fabregas’ laudable is the fact that he got eleven assists having only started 11 matches in the Premier League under Antonio Conte.

All hail the assist king!!!
