Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes Manchester City are the team to beat next season despite City being 15 points behind Chelsea.
Redknapp is already writing Chelsea off for next season by insisting Manchester City are favourites to win the league next season.
Chelsea won the league this season with two games to spare despite many tipping Manchester City and Manchester United to win the league and Chelsea would again prove the doubters wrong next season.
“I think defending the title will be difficult next year,” Redknapp said on BT Sport.
“I think teams like Man City, Man United will look to improve again I’m sure.
“Arsenal need to improve if they are going to be anywhere near it next year.
“I certainly see Man City as being the challenger next year.
“I think they’re the favourites already for next season’s title.
“They’re the team that I would fear the most next year.”
