Play-off contenders Huddersfield want to make Chelsea youngster Izzi Brown’s loan move a permanent one after his impressive spell in the second half of the season.

The Chelsea youngster joined Huddersfield in January and has been impressive for the Championship club. He cut short his loan at Rotherham to join Huddersfield in January and has scored five goals in 15 starts for David Wagner’s side.

The 20 year-old helped Huddersfield finish fifth and their promotion hopes are in the balance after a 0-0 draw in their play-off semi-final first leg against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Terriers will want to make Brown a permanent signing if they gain promotion.
