There have been reports linking Chelsea star Eden Hazard with Real Madrid, and reports strongly suggest that Chelsea won’t let go of their star man.
Hazard has revealed that he hasn’t yet been offered the contract that was rumoured to be worth £300,000-per-week, but he hopes to be offered the contract at the end of the season.
“At this moment, there’s nothing on the table. We’re waiting for the end of the season,” the 26-year-old told Het Nieuwsblad.
“I’m still calm. We will talk. If not, then we’ll see.”
Asked if there’s still a chance of a move to another big European club this summer, the Belgian replied: “For the moment, I don’t know. I’m happy at the club.
“When I’m back from the national team, we’ll have time to talk and see what’s possible.”
Chelsea have been linked with a big money move for Lukaku, and his Belgian teammate joked that if Chelsea give him his new contract there will be no money left to sign Lukaku.
“If I sign a contract, maybe there won’t be enough money left to get Romelu!” he said.
“I’m kidding. Whoever comes in, we’ll be ready for the new season.”
